Balboa catering is a family-owned business that offers a finer take on catered food -- one forged through chef alex garfinkel's years of experience at iconic restaurants around the world. While alex runs the kitchen, jocelyn garfinkel -- a veteran of new york's tribeca grill and park avenue cafe -- manages the front of the house at our artisan-crafted kitchen and event venue in philadelphia: balboa at american silk. And sometimes we get a helping hand from little chef wesley. Our mission as humans, our senses of taste and smell are tied to our memories. A single bite of food or whiff of a dish can conjure up treasured memories, whether from our childhoods or the recent past. Our dining experiences are curated to hit just the right notes for you and your guests, summoning fond reminiscences while leaving you with sensational new memories that make your special event, well, special.
